CULTURE ASPECTS:

DAY TO DAY ITINERARY:
Day 01:- Arrive Delhi.
Mysterious eternity – Imperial past and pulsating present! India’s capital Delhi, a product of over 5000 yrs history, houses 2 World Heritage sites and the finest museums. Shops offer traditional and contemporary handicrafts. Its plethora of fine dining restaurants and a throbbing nightlife add zest to this historical city. Overnight Delhi.
Day 02:- Delhi - Udaipur (Fly)
Transfer to airport to board flight for Udaipur. The inimitable Lake city! Unlike its desert counterparts, Udaipur is situated in the forested hilly region of the Aravalli Ranges; in complete contrast to the arid deserts of Marwar in the northwest. Tucked away in the midst of hills, the city is an impregnable citadel, with an impressive royal lineage stretching back 26 generations. A do-or-die attitude and a fierce sense of independence characterize Udaipur. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 03:- Udaipur
Morning tour of Udaipur. Visit the city palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Sahelion ki brain, and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. Afternoon free. Overnight Udaipur.
Day 04:- Udaipur - Ranakpur - Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur visiting Ranakpur Temples en-route. Ranakpur - 98 km from Udaipur, the Jain Temples built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculptures. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. The magic of light & shade is really awe-inspiring. Surya Temple and other Jain Temples are sided attractions. Overnight Jodhpur.
Day 05:- Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Drive to Jaisalmer. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight Jaisalmer.
Day 06:- Jaisalmer
Morning visit Jaisalmer. Visit the Fort, bazaars and the old mansions known as “Havelis“. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from the 12th to the 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. Overnight Jaisalmer.
Day 07:- Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur. Afternoon visit the Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill, including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorial built in 1899 and the museum located in the Umaid Public Gardens Overnight Jodhpur.
Day 08:- Jodhpur - Pushkar
Drive to Pushkar. In Pushkar, visit the holy Lake and also the famous Brahma Temple. Pushkar is one of the holiest places for Hindus. Overnight Pushkar.
Day 09:- Pushkar - Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a color coat of pink a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace & the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 10:- Jaipur
Morning visit Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back. Day 11:- Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra Via Abhaneri Step Well
Unravel the sheer charm of white marble! Layers of history are peeled away to reveal an amazing tapestry of life, for hiding behind the heat and chaos is a stunning monument etched in cool white marble…the wonder that is called the Taj Mahal; a World Heritage site, an architectural marvel and testimony of undying love. Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri en-route. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 km from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Overnight Agra.
Day 12:- Agra
Morning visit the world-famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience. TAJ MAHAL IS CLOSED ON FRIDAY. Afternoon free. Overnight Agra.
Day 13:- Agra - Delhi
Drive to Delhi airport in time for the return flight. No hotel.
